Have you ever had an "oil spill" and saturate your sheets? Spills like these are known to stain clothing or sheets. Follow this simple advice:
Before placing the soiled article of clothing in the wash, simply add some dish detergent to the washing machine. Feel free to also spread dish soap liberally over the "Soaked" area of clothing or linen.
Dish soap contains special emollients that break down high concentrations of oil. If there still is oil remaining on your sheets after the first wash, put the sheets again through the washing machine before placing them in your dryer. Placing sheets in your dryer while concentrations of oil are still in them often can burn your sheets and leave dark stains.
Using dish detergent does not harm linens in any way so feel free to add detergent to your washer loads regularly or whenever you feel best suits your personal use.
